Out of boredom I thought it'd be fun to search "Furry Linux" on Google, didn't expect to find anything but then I saw a link to your original post where you started the idea ( [link] ), if you go through with this your name would become one of the most known in furry history... I wish you luck at completing this! And thank god you're going Debian/Ubuntu-based. :P

I'm curious to know if CreatureS will have KDE and/or xfce releases, or will we have to manually install our favourite desktop environment ourselves? Will it even be fully compatible with other (at least, major) desktop environments?

The initial release will more then likely only support GNOME, as its predicted that there will not be much demand for other DEs and there will be limited resources, so the distro will not have a very vast amount of packages to choose from. But the amount of packages we can hold will change as time passes.
